PARENTAL GUIDANCE

Parents, guardians and mentors rejoice! This course is designed to help you navigate those uncomfortable yet important conversations with the ones you love and care for. After all, parents/guardians are a child’s first teacher and sex education must not be overlooked! This course is vital, fun and informative!

Topics covered but not limited to:

• Defining sex (as youth sees it) in the 21st century

• Identifying personal attitudes toward sex and how it can empower/disempower youth

• Learning safe and supportive language to communicate to youth about sex

• How to positively address sexual health topics as they come 

• Speak to youth about digital and social respect and responsibility 

• Teach youth body awareness and good hygiene practices

• How to care for someone and/or yourself during menstruation
