Hi, my name is Amy LaPaix, a.k.a the “Three S Educator.” Since receiving my B.A. from Rider University in 2011, I have been devoted to the empowerment of women and youth. In 2014, while working at the Museum of Sex in New York City, my passion for teaching sexual health education was ignited. Improving my self-confidence through sexual health education healed parts of me that had nothing to do with sex which was a delightful surprise. As I was learning more of myself, I noticed that family, friends and even strangers began to confide in me for information regarding their sexuality and relationships. I quickly realized that so many people were have confusing experiences surrounding sex and needed information from a healing source. I AM that healing source.
Throughout my professional career and personal experiences, I developed a philosophy that considers our whole being as it relates to sex. My philosophy is that spirituality, sensuality and sexuality are the three pillars for a healthy and gratifying experience with intimacy, relationships and sex. When the three S’ are aligned, people are in-tune, empowered and fulfilled by their sexual feelings, thoughts and/or encounters, which will serve to fortify their self-confidence, resilience and intuitive ability to trust themselves. I believe my work is vital to leading a passionate, positive and healthy life!
My individualistic approach in practicing and teaching the SSS philosophy is meant to inform, empower and inspire others to be intentional with their intimate lives. Using evidence-based methods combined with different forms of creative expressions like intimacy vision-boarding, writing, crafting and dancing helps us connect to our body, mind and spirit in an authentic way. In the safe and open space we create, we learn effortlessly, apply it easily and grow at our own pace.
Our youth deserve healthy, confident and joyous adults that are prepared to mentor them through challenging and sometimes confusing situations. The most responsible thing we can do is educate ourselves and our youth, so they feel safe and self-assured in the lifestyle they choose.
I love what I do. I look forward to healing, learning and evolving with you.
With love,
Amy.
